The ascent to Wartburg Castle begins right at the hotel. It's about a 1-kilometer walk through the countryside. Depending on your pace, you'll reach the castle in approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Yes. You can rent bicycles directly at the house for tours to Wartburg Castle, through Eisenach, and into the Thuringian Forest. Please ask us about it on-site or before your arrival if you are interested.
